Fort Worden State Park
Fort Worden State Park is a beautiful park just a few minutes drive from quaint, quirky, & maritime Port Townsend. Fort Worden has abundant natural beauty with views of Mount Baker, the Olympics, Vancouver Island, & the strait of Juan de Fuca. Fort Worden is even home to several businesses including restaurants, accommodations, event spaces and even a yoga studio & even hosts festivals and concerts.
Fort Worden and the waters that surround it are home to many wild creatures including otters, seals, mink, and a wide variety of marine & forest birds. If you're lucky you just might see larger animals like whales passing through.
